The Book of Daniel: Prophecy PAST,
PRESENT & FUTURE (Chapter 7: Verses 15-28)
15 I Daniel
was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head
troubled me. 16 I came near unto one of them that stood by, and
asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the
interpretation of the things. 17 These great beasts, which are
four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth. 18 But
the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom
forever, even for ever and ever. 19 Then I would know the truth
of the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful,
whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in
pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet; 20 And of the
ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before
whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very
great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows. 21 I
beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to
the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the
kingdom. 23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth
kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the
whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. 24 And
the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another
shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall
subdue three kings. 25 And he shall speak great words against
the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to
change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and
times and the dividing of time. 26 But the judgment shall sit,
and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the
end. 27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the
kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of
the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall
serve and obey him. 28 Hitherto is the end of the matter. As
for me Daniel, my cogitations much troubled me, and my countenance changed in
me: but I kept the matter in my heart – Daniel 7:15-28
OPENING POINTS TO PONDER: Here in this PROPHETICALLY poignant passage, the aged “Daniel” is terribly “troubled” when he LEARNS of these “four”
ferociously “great beasts” of which were to ardently arrive
on the “world” stage adversely AFLICTING the “Jewish” people in this heralded HISTORICAL context. Another main matter of IMPORTANCE is the tumultuously touted “ten horns” with a looming “little horn” arriving within their
midst. This dastardly DEMONIC derelict will become the
FINAL impending imperial head of the
REVIVED ranking Roman Empire to come. This caustic “kingdom” made by maniacal MAN is manifested with a diabolical
domineering DICTATOR at its hoisted helm, just as is REPEATEDLY reported throughout the wonderful – Word of God!
It
is also very IMPORTANT to note that the Old
Testament never directly mentions
the “church” of our “Lord Jesus Christ” referred to as the “dispensation of the grace”
and the “dispensation of God”
even once. WHY? Because this
marvelous “mystery” was wholly
“hidden”
of which is NOW rightly “revealed”
through the real “revelation”
gladly GIVEN by our great “God”
Himself. In fact, this is the
righteous REASON for the “Apostle
Paul” emphatically stating this terrific TRUTH as
the grand “gift of the grace
of God” as such:
For this
cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, If ye have heard
of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I
wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may
understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Which
in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed
unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; That
the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his
promise in Christ by the gospel: Whereof I was made a
minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the
effectual working of his power. Unto me, who am less
than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among
the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to
make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the
beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus
Christ – Ephesians
3:1-9
Whereof I
am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me
for you, to fulfil the word of God; Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations,
but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God
would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the
Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory – Colossians 1:25-27
Therefore,
“we” should NOT be a
bit surprised when we “find”
this intricate INTERVAL is finely found ONLY in the New Testament narrative and is NEVER directly discussed within the –
Old Testament!
The Vision INTERPRETED!
As
“Daniel” saw this vexatious “vision” of these frightful “four beasts” sordidly set BEFORE him, he was greatly “grieved” and tremendously “troubled” in his EARNEST heart:
I Daniel was grieved in my spirit
in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me – Daniel
7:15
Thus,
he carefully “came near” unto
“one of them that stood” near
with apt angelic caring COUNSEL as he sought the “interpretation”
of total “truth” firmly foretold
in the theological “things” herein.
And of course, it was graciously GIVEN unto him:
I came near unto one of them that
stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know
the interpretation of the things – Daniel 7:16
Here the “dream” and accompanying “night visions” of the aged “Daniel” dredged of these “four” brutal “beasts” were
actually the real REVELATION of the emerging world "empires" eerily encompassed
within the “times of the Gentiles” of which were CLOSE at hand:
These great beasts, which are
four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth – Daniel
7:17
Thus, “Daniel” had perfectly PROPHESIED that indeed “four” grandiose “Gentile” maniacal monarchies will aptly “arise out
of the earth” in kind – Gentile
World Powers!
There is a SIGNIFICANT
statement made concerning the solemn “saints” of the “Most High” above relevantly RECEIVING the coming “kingdom” unto themselves:
But the saints of the most High
shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even for ever and ever – Daniel
7:18
THEOLOGICAL THOUGHTS: And WHO are the “saints” noted here of the “Most High” Himself? Are these the “saints” of which compose the “Church” body? NO! Although it is TRUE that the “Church” made up of called out ones WILL indeed be with
our loving “Lord Jesus Christ” within honored “heavenly places” in kind…
Blessed be the
God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual
blessings in heavenly places in Christ… Which
he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own
right hand in the heavenly places
– Ephesians 1:3 & 20
And hath raised
us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in
Christ Jesus – Ephesians 2:6
To the intent
that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might
be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God – Ephesians
3:10
There are also OTHER saved
“saints”
described throughout the sanctified “scriptures” themselves. However, the solemn “saints” of whom “Daniel” was referring here are his
own “beloved” people of “Hebrew” descent. To “them” is
properly PROMISED an earthly “kingdom” in the FUTURE dawning “days” of
the “Messiah” righteously REIGNING as the “Son of Man” in complementary connection with His earthly “saints” of whom will POSSESS that coming “kingdom” of which will fill the ENTIRE earth…
These twelve Jesus sent forth,
and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any
city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the
house of Israel. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at
hand… – Matthew 10:5-7
Therefore, these particular
poignant “saints” are
the Godfearing “Jews” of whom pass THROUGH the terrible “times of the Gentiles” as purposely PROPHESIED by their own “prophets” and will inherit the beautiful BLESSINGS and practical PROMISES of which our great – God GAVE!
The Fourth Beast FORETOLD!
Then
the angelic “one” that soundly
“stood” near the distressed “Daniel” correctly continues
to further DESCRIBE this
audacious anti-Semitic
eerily “exceeding dreadful”
annotated animal of which is direly “diverse” from absolutely all “other” kinds found within
the natural realm. It is a corrupt COMPOSITE of
the PREVIOUS berated “beasts”
bemoaned beforehand as such:
Then I would know the truth of
the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful,
whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in
pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet; And of the ten horns that were
in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even
of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose
look was more stout than his fellows – Daniel 7:19-20
Here
“Daniel” deeply DESIRED to
keenly “know” much MORE of
the telling “truth” about this
belligerent brute. And although there is no comparing
this ferocious “fourth beast”
with ANYTHING else found
in the wild, it most likely EMBODIES absolutely ALL of the evil elements found such
as these “teeth of iron” by
rift Roman rite along with these
“nails of brass” by Medo-Persian persuasion
melded within the prior “three
beasts” warned of as the leaping “leopard”
the bemoaned “bear” and the
lurking “lion” in their – DESCENDING Dictates!
This
“stout” surmised SUPERIOR of whom sharply “spake very great things” actually “looks” to be very
much “like” the barbaric BRUTALLY brandish “beast” of which the “Apostle John” describes as the religious
ranking Roman Empire along with the “Antichrist” adamantly EMPOWERED by
the anti-Semitic
demonic “dragon” of whom will
come OUT of its searing satanic
realm…
And I stood upon the sand of the
sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns,
and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And
the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of
a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his
power, and his seat, and great authority… And there was given unto him a mouth
speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue
forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to
blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven – Revelation
13:1-2 & 5-6
PROPHETIC PROMISE: The once great “nations” of the “Gentiles” and their “kingdoms of men” will indeed ALL eventually
GO
the way of the “flesh”
and ultimately END in full ruin by the “Ancient of days” Himself. WHY? Because anything BUILT upon
the maniacal “might of man”
and the waning “wisdom of man”
will certainly SUFFER the same deterioration since
our Original FALL into deep “dissipation”
just like EVERY other “nation”
in history gone before…
I beheld, and the same horn made
war with the saints, and prevailed against them; Until the Ancient of days
came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came
that the saints possessed the kingdom – Daniel 7:21-22
This
“other” adamant anti-Semitic
sadistic “same horn” had
corruptly “came up” to woefully
wage “war with the saints” and
powerfully “prevailed against them”
but only for a season as just “judgment” was graciously “given” unto all the “saints of the most High” in the conquered –
Kingdom to COME!
And
over 700 years LATER the “Apostle John” also had “written” about these SAME terrible “ten horns” of which are synonymous
to the “mystery” mandated within his FINAL received “Revelation” in kind:
And the angel
said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the
woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten
horns… – Revelation 17:7
The FORTH Kingdom INITIATED!
Thus,
the “ten horns” righty represent
the tumultuous “ten kingdoms”
as the FINAL form of the ruling pagan Roman Empire as the tumultuous – The 10 Horns!
Thus he said, The fourth beast
shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all
kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break
it in pieces. And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall
arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the
first, and he shall subdue three kings. And he shall speak great words against
the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to
change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and
times and the dividing of time – Daniel 7:23-25
This “fourth beast” is a right representation regarding a rote resurrection
concerning the ancient Roman Empire during the terrible “times of the Gentiles” within HISTORY wholly held. WHY? Because the FULFILLMENT of this gargantuan “government” to aptly arrive
on the sordid scene is seen symbolically here via the “diverse” domination within these “ten horns” contained in the “fourth kingdom” concocted. The total territory of which once upon
a “time” had corporately constituted
the now EXTINCT existence this evil Empire had utterly undergone a permanent political and supplanting spiritual revolting REVIVAL of sorts. HOW? This rouge realm represents a dire DIATRIBE of demonized DEMOCRACIES denoting a
rank representation of reigning anti-Semitic rule under the PROPHESIED person of “Antichrist” as the “son of perdition” and “Wicked” wonder to be rightly “revealed” during this terrible “time” of toil. Of course this PROPHETIC plan would Sovereignly be
greatly “given” over to this “Beast” of burden BY the only TRUE
glorious “God in
heaven” from the resulting
ashes of a – MAN-MADE Mayhem!
WHO is this OTHER Horn?
This
RELATIONSHIP of the diabolical “dragon”
no doubt represents the Ancient
Roman Empire as the bemoaned “beast from the sea” of whom will
dreadfully DERIVE his pious power and sadistic seat
of such “great authority” from
the “first horns” through SATAN himself…
I considered the horns, and,
behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the
first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like
the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things… And of the ten horns that
were in his head, and of the
other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn
that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more
stout than his fellows… I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and
prevailed against them… And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings
that shall arise: and another
shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall
subdue three kings – Daniel 7:8, 20, 21
& 24
But,
did these “ten kings” as
rightly represented by these “ten horns” of the Roman Empire ever formally BESTOW their
personal political pompous “power”
and audacious “authority” upon
any EXISTING earthly anti-Semitic
earnest ecclesiastical entity? ~ YES!
HISTORICAL HINTS: At this pivotal point
in human HISTORY held, the lauded likes of Gaius Julius Cesar (100 B.C. – 44 B.C.)
along with Nero Claudius Cesar (54 A.D. – 68 A.D.)
had vehemently “came up” from among
the Ancient Roman Empire elites. And soon AFTER their
terrifying “time” of total TYRANNY touted, there would be yet “another” oppressive looming “little horn” of whom ALSO seems
to formally fulfill the tumultuous timing
told of HISTORICALLY by
the aged “Daniel” himself.
This obtuse “other horn” was
demonically “diverse” in its
dire directives and had rankly RISEN up
in pious PROMINENCE after the fatal fall and dire division
of the pagan Roman Empire
throughout the 5th century A.D. Subsequently, this seething “same horn” had taken
complete CONTROL cohesively of BOTH
the political Civil and spiritual Ecclesiastical
realms of government and
roughly RULING over them ALL
for a full “1260” long YEARS encompassed
in “3 1/2 times” termed EXACTLY as
previously – PROPHESIED in Advance…
And
WHO is the overt “other horn” heralded within
human HISTORY of which would readily “rise after” the tempestuous “ten kings” to ardently “come” in kind? To aptly ADDRESS this
quizzical quandary, let “us”
again carefully consider the following TEN telling traits of this TYRANNY touted:
ONE: It is a CITY that rightly rests
upon specifically “seven hills”
as the famed location lauded – Rome!
TWO: It was LITTLE initially in size as the “stout” chided Church of Rome with
its mandated – Modest Beginnings!
THREE: It aptly ASSUMED the
Roman universal name, capital city
and lauded language officially “spoken” at that time – Latin!
FOUR: It was DIFFERENT in its initial instance as a “diverse” rote RELIGIOUS collective
“kingdom” rather than – Political & Military!
FIVE: It has a BLASPHEMOUS maniacal “mouth”
as it proclaims many “great
things” concerning its purported – Pious Popes & Religious Rites!
SIX: It is an ADULTEROUS wayward “whore”
wantonly committing spiritual forthright “fornication” with its rank RELIGIOUS rites
– Woman of Whoredom!
SEVEN: It greatly GREW out of the “fourth”
belligerent “beast” of pagan Rome and NO other recognizable
corrupt “kingdom” grew out of
the – Roman Kingdom!
EIGHT: It arrived AFTER the touted “ten
horns” of the pagan Roman Empire as originally ten nations
established BEFORE the rash “rise”
of the chided – Church of Rome!
NINE: It has INTELLIGENCE with evasive “eyes”
of intense intrigue of which are employed EVERYWHERE as
the overt overseer ordained via the Jesuitical Catholic
Confessional booth – Vicious Vision!
TEN: It had UPROOTED the “three
kingdoms” of the Visigoths, Vandals and Ostrogoths as outlined in the Patrimony
of Peter and vindicated in the OFFICIAL Vatican pronouncement of pious POWER via
the Papal pernicious Triple
Tiara crown – Supreme Pontiff!
Therefore,
the pious platitudes purported by the pragmatic Papacy of Rome and
the religious rites of the Roman
Catholic Church indeed appear
to fatally FULFILL these
Biblical PROPHECIES quite perfectly within the “1260” years 538 A.D. to 1798 A.D. according to the – Heralded HISTORICAL Record…
DEMONIC DECEPTION: Does the Bible itself ANYWHERE truly
“teach” that a mere “sinful” soulish human
will EVER bemoaning BECOME an actual grandees GOD themselves? – NO!
However,
carefully consider the following corrupt CLAIM espoused
by the Roman Catholic Church via
its OFFICAL Vatican documented deception:
The Word became flesh to make us
"partakers of the divine nature":78 "For this is why
the Word became man, and the Son of God became the Son of man: so that man, by entering into
communion with the Word and thus receiving divine sonship, might become a son
of God."79 "For the Son of God became man so that we might become God."80
"The only-begotten Son of God, wanting to make us sharers in his divinity,
assumed our nature, so that he, made man, might make men gods."81

And lest “we” foolishly FALL into uniform unfounded spiteful SPECULATION concerning
this serious SPIRITUAL subject matter, let “us” further consider
the following Papal points as piously
presented by prelate Pope Pius IX (1846-1878)
himself…
“The Catholic Church which was founded and
instituted by Our Lord Jesus Christ to procure the eternal salvation of men,
has, by reason of this divine institution, the form of a perfect society.
Therefore, she must possess liberty such that she cannot be subject to any
civil power in the execution of her sacred ministry.
To act with freedom, as it is just she should,
she has always needed the assistance which was suitable to the conditions and
the necessities of the age. It is, therefore, by a particular decree of Divine
Providence that, at the fall of the Roman Empire and its partition into
separate kingdoms, the Roman Pontiff, whom Christ made the head and center of
his entire Church, acquired civil power.
Certainly, it was by a most wise design of God
Himself that in the midst of so great a multitude and variety of temporal
princes, the Sovereign Pontiff enjoyed political liberty, which is so necessary
for him to exercise his spiritual power, his authority, and his jurisdiction
over the whole world.”

prideful pronouncements are taken directly
from the OFFICIAL
position(s) proclaimed of which when eagerly EXAMINED in
their FULL contextual conjunction
with the Biblical text of Daniel
chapter 7 itself, aptly appears to precisely point to the
incidental IDENTTFY of this looming “little
horn” as being the HISTORICAL
manic manifestation of the perfectly PROPHESIED mandated “man of sin” and seething “son of perdition” summonsed as the connected
conglomerate corruption (at least a prototype
figure) of the – Anticipated Antagonistic
ANTICHRIST!
BIBLICAL BACKGROUND: This anticipated
“antichrist” maniacal menace would satanically SEEK to expeditiously “exalteth himself above all that is called God” and in blatant blasphemously will go on “shewing himself that he is God” during “his time” of roughly ruling the ENTIRE planet through a full-orbed
– World-Wide SATANIC
System!
Little children,
it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come,
even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last
time… Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He
is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son – 1 John 2:18 & 22
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall
not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be
revealed, the son of perdition; who opposeth and exalteth himself above all
that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the
temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I
was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what
withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of
iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until
he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom
the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the
brightness of his coming: even him, whose coming is after the working
of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and
with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they
received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this
cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that
they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in

In fact, ALL the great “world” wars of
the PAST have brazenly brought into the PRESENT a very
powerful political posterity and spiritual satanic SLAVERY unto our current “times” proven precisely as hostile anti-Semitic human “history” itself has – CLEARLY Concluded!
But the judgment shall sit, and
they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.
And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole
heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose
kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him – Daniel
7:26-27
“But”… Biblical PROPHECY powerfully
proclaims that this “everlasting
kingdom” will cohesively CRUSH this horrible “horn’s”
demonic “dominion” via “God’s” just “judgment” as it fully fills the ENTIRE earth
in its “greatness“ gladly “given” to the “saints of the most High” in which “all dominions” will soundly “serve and obey him” in kind – Eternal Equity!
CONTEXTUAL COMMENTS: The Creator
“God of heaven” will ultimately DESTROY these caustic “kings” to eagerly establish
the coming “Kingdom” of which
our “Lord Jesus Christ” Himself will rightfully RULE and righteously REIGN over everything
during His Second Coming as the “scripture” powerfully
proclaim – The Millennial Kingdom!
The interpretation of these
powerful PROPHECIES indeed coincide with those
of the “Apostle John” predominately “written” within his final “Revelation” in kind:
The beast that thou sawest was,
and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition:
and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in
the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast
that was, and is not, and yet is. And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The
seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. And there are
seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and
when he cometh, he must continue a short space. And the beast that was, and is
not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. And
the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom
as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one
mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. These shall make
war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords,
and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and
faithful. And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore
sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. And the ten
horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall
make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give

And finally, as the dedicated “Daniel” comes to CLOSE this eluded “end of
the matter” at hand, his conscious “cogitations” were tremendously being “troubled” as his contested “countenance changed” in like manner…
Hitherto is the end of the
matter. As for me Daniel, my cogitations much troubled me, and my countenance
changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart – Daniel
7:28
However, concerning the FUTURE forecast… The aged “Daniel” had carefully “kept” all of this PROPHETIC proclamation deep within his
honorable – HEART of Hearts!
Beloved, the excellent evidence
seems to be quite STRONG in that “we” are indeed most LIKELY living in the trying “times” outlined here by the “Apostle John” just as PROMISED by “our” great “God” to quickly “come” shortly BEFORE these very dangerous
dooming “days” ahead… Maranatha Lord Jesus!
We are not guaranteed tomorrow – tomorrow may be too late! If you haven't yet made that most important decision of your life, won't you make Jesus Christ your personal Lord and Savior today - before it's too late? Today is the day of Salvation!
