Welcome back.
The goals of those who signed the Humanist Manifestos I (1933), II (1973) and 2000 (Y2K) are being accomplished even now as we see the merging of education with labor policy or what many refer to as "corporate fascism." The American Heritage Dictionary defines corporate fascism as "a philosophy or system of government that advocates or exercises dictatorship through the merging of state and business leadership." This sort of thinking has troubling roots.
In this segment we will learn about the concept of a "Planned Economy" and how it is impacting our educational and industry establishments at all levels...
"Faith, Family & Freedom: Our American Values Under Fire"
Aldous Huxley
(1894-1963)
Aldous Huxley is best known as the author of Brave New World, in which he outlines the steps toward total social transformation. Huxley’s list of stated goals confirms that he is still impacting America’s education system:
- Rewrite history to discredit nationalism and promote globalism.
- Teaching thinking skills based on feelings and experiences, not facts and reason.
- Encourage loyalty to peers and teachers, not family and churches.
- Immerse students in global beliefs and values.
- Block opposition to the new global paradigm.
- Condition students to serve a “greater whole.”
Aldous Huxley supported the idea of a planned economy where the government merges education with industrial production, just as was called for by Karl Marx in the Tenth Plank of the Communist Manifesto. Huxley wrote:
"A really efficient totalitarian state would be one in which the all-powerful executive political bosses and their army of managers control a population of slaves who do not have to be coerced because they love their servitude… To bring about the revolution we require… enabling government managers to assign any given individuals to his or her proper place in the social and economical hierarchy. Round pegs in square holes tend to have dangerous thoughts about the social system and to infect others with their discontents."
This philosophy has been in the process of being implemented both at the state and federal levels for many years; this poses many dangers to individual liberty and the free markets. Many Americans believe the government education system is a planned failure and intellectual slavery. Why? Because if children are not educated but instead "trained," they can be easily controlled. And I contend we are seeing much of this taking place today in our schools.
As we saw with John Dewey, he believed the goal of schools is to determine where students fit in the social and economic hierarchy – the modernist version of a caste system – consistent with Huxley’s worldview. Today, many courses and tests are used to determine how a child’s attitudes, values, and feelings line up with the state’s outcomes, benchmarks, or preferences. Many of the national standards proposed under the federal education legislation Goals 2000, for example, had little to do with cognitive data. These "standards" have been pushed from both sides of the political isle- Bush 41, Clinton, Bush 43 and now Obama.
The day may be fast approaching when holding to and expressing a Biblical worldview in America will cost you a degree, a promotion, or even your job. A few years ago, one of my associates was informed that in order to get his license to practice law renewed in the state of Minnesota, he would have to take a course on diversity – and particularly the acceptance of homosexuality. After weeks of fighting this requirement, he was finally allowed to take a course on feminism with which he disagreed but which was not offensive. Although he was prepared to leave Minnesota and set up his practice in another state, this dangerous encounter is being seen nationwide. Back in 2002, I was required to participate in a similar "diversity course" (or what I referred to as "perversity training") while certified in the brokerage industry. This course had absolutely nothing to do with my career discipline and was extremely offensive. I know of yet another man within the heating and air conditioning industry who was required to attend the same type of diversity training to get his license renewed for working with freon!
President George H. W. Bush once said we need to be a nation of “students,” and the globalists work hard to make that a reality. Our young people are indoctrinated through school and volunteerism, and if authorities can ever make it mandatory, adults too, will be routinely indoctrinated through diversity programs tied to career growth.
Huxley spent the last years of his life experimenting with mind-altering drugs in an attempt to find some kind of esoteric or “hidden truth.” Harvard professor, psychologist, and promoter of psychedelic drugs Dr. Timothy Leary recalls, in a piece titled “Flashback,” a conversation he had with Huxley:
"These brain drugs, mass produced in the laboratories, will bring about vast changes in society. This will happen with or without you or me. All we can do is spread the word. The obstacle to this evolution, Timothy, is the Bible."
To which Leary responded:
"We had run up against the Judeo-Christian commitment to one God, one religion, one reality, that has cursed Europe for centuries and America since our founding days. Drugs that open the mind to multiple realities inevitably lead to a polytheistic view of the universe. We sensed that the time for a new humanist religion based on intelligence, good-natured pluralism and scientific paganism has arrived."
While there is nothing brave about it, this "new world" is upon us...
