A Religious Trojan Horse (Part 1)‏

Over the next several weeks we will examine many serious issues facing our culture today and the damage this "Religious Trojan Horse" is having on the most important institution in our lives - the church.  Please join me as we take an investigative journey of the forces, elements and individuals that are methodically dismantling this most cherished remnant of God's affections.  Will they succeed?...

 

Spiritual Evolution

 

Spiritual evolution says that no one goes to hell, all people are spiritually evolving and good and evil are merging to produce a better third option as people understand their Christ-consciences.  The emerging realization and acceptance that God dwells in each person is what they believe will usher in peace on earth, unity, equality, and social justice, also referred to as heaven on earth.  This spiritual evolution is common in the worldview of the Emergent Church, New Age Spirituality, pagan spirituality, Hinduism, and Buddhism.  I contend that Biblically minded and committed Christians that oppose this one world spirituality will soon be persecuted and seen as standing in the way of the needed spiritual evolutionary process that will bring unity, peace, and heaven on earth.  For this reason, the false dominate church will one day turn on true followers of Jesus Christ.  Here's a thought: Laodicea means “justice of the people”. So, the apathetic church that Jesus Christ warned us about in the book of Revelation was kind of a precursor to what is known today as social justice - the mixture of Christianity with socialism - also known as liberation theology.  Isn't that interesting?

 

The American church today is changing rapidly.  72% of "Millenials" (18-29 years of age) claim to be spiritual but not religious (SBNR) and fall into this "Evolutionary Christianity" that is fast becoming a foundational block of the one-world religion the scriptures warn about in these last days.  The Christian Post also notes that one of the top ten stories in 2010 was the Beck Rally where various Christian leaders questioned the uniting of all religions together, looking to one god as called for by Beck.  Finally, Pope Benedict XVI is soon planning to hold conference in attempt to unite world religions for global peace.

 

We must be a part of the true Christian remnant of Jesus Christ that is committed to exposing false teachings and ideas, contending for the faith and actively participating in the edification and equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry!
