Hello Friends!
Welcome back. David Hale, nationally known Tea Party leader from Rockford, IL has some questions for Glenn Beck’s historian David Barton founder of the Wall Builders organization. Hale has recently appeared on Fox News because of his activities as the coordinator of the Rockford, IL Tea Party. Recently, Hale has publicly released information pertaining to a letter he personally sent to his long time “hero” David Barton, asking him why he has not spoken the "whole truth" about some of the founding fathers who were actually hostile to the gospel and foundational Biblical doctrine...
Hidden Faith of the Founding Fathers?
Hidden Faith of the Founding Fathers?
Hale was impacted when he watched the video “The Hidden Faith of the Founding Fathers” created by Chris Pinto with Christian film production company Adullam Films. Hale said he did his own research to verify the facts presented in the documentary he watched. Hale makes it clear that he believes America did have some Godly founders but his concern is that the entire history be presented. Hale says that he himself wants to make sure that his focus is not “dominion theology” and that his loyalty is to Jesus Christ and not John Adams. I believe it is important that Christians not hold up certain founders as men of God that were actually hostile to Jesus Christ, who even mocked foundational, Biblical doctrines and ridiculed Christian faith.
Blessings on your success!David Barton has said “that’s not where theology belongs is in the culture.” Does theology belong in the civic/cultural arena or only in the church arena? Theology is one’s view of God. Theology, philosophy and ethics determine a person’s values and worldview that they bring into the culture. Barton says he wants to promote a “God consciences” to the nation. If we do not use theology then how do we know which “God” we are talking about? We should make the case that Christians must hold to Biblical theology in all areas of life which does not mean that such Christians believe in dominion theology. To the contrary, sound Biblical theology makes it clear that Christians are not called to build God’s kingdom on this earth, for Jesus said in John 18:36 that His kingdom is not of this world. God does not need our help getting his church ready for His appearing. The Bible states that the world will grow more evil and progressively worse until the Father's appointed time of Christs' return.
I personally have viewed both films from David Barton "America's Godly Heritage" and Chris Pinto “The Hidden Faith of the Founding Fathers” and find both to be professionally produced and well documented. However, our concern should be that all facts be presented with out any revisionist history - from the left or the right - including the church. As Christians, I contend that our first allegiance must be to Jesus Christ and not to the state or any religious affiliation - it is Christ alone we serve and it is Him alone that is Truth. If you haven't had the opportunity to view these two film productions, I encourage you to do so and discern the truth about America's founding fathers for yourself.
America is a great nation and I believe God has blessed us due to the global promotion of the Gospel of Jesus Christ as well as the support of the Jewish people. I also believe the "whole truth" has been deceitfully hidden from the history books and is now being challenged from a Biblical Worldview.

How will the Tea Party movement react to David Hale’s "new" historical perspective? Only time will tell. How will we respond? I pray it is only through the Truth, regardless of the consequences.
